Axiomtek AIE900A-AO-2L8P NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB Fanless Robotics Computer with 8x PoE and 2x 2.5GbE

Large autonomous machines carry many sensors: surround cameras, lidar, ultrasonic arrays and a drive system on CAN. Feeding all of them into one AI computer, with power, keeps the wiring simpler and the latency lower. The AIE900A-AO-2L8P is a robotics computer from Axiomtek, positioned by Axiomtek for 5G and robotics applications, with eight PoE ports and NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin.

The Jetson AGX Orin 32GB combines an 8-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU with a 1792-core Ampere GPU, 56 Tensor Cores and deep learning accelerators, rated at 200 TOPS, with 32GB of 256-bit LPDDR5 at 204.8GB/s and 64GB of on-board eMMC. That suits multi-camera perception, mapping and planning together, and the robotics computer runs Ubuntu 20.04 or later.

Eight GbE PoE ports, which Axiomtek rates at up to 60 W and connects through an internal switch with 1 Gbps switching capacity, power cameras and lidar, and two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports carry higher-bandwidth links. Two DB9 ports provide CAN and RS-232/422/485, an 8-channel DI/DO handles robot signals, and a lockable HDMI 2.0 output, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports complete the panel. The AIE900A-AO-2L8P adds an M.2 NVMe slot, microSD, M.2 slots for 5G or LTE and Wi-Fi 6E, a Mini Card slot, a Nano SIM and optional 8-channel GMSL, FPD-Link or V-by-One camera inputs.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC with ignition power control and E-Mark compliance. The AIE900A-AO-2L8P runs fanless from -25 to 60 °C, with an optional external fan kit for more thermal headroom, is tested to IEC 60068 shock and vibration, weighs 3.2 kg and carries CE, FCC Class A and UKCA marking. For lighter robots, the AIE510-ONX offers Orin NX in a smaller box.
