DFI ARH173 Intel Core Ultra Arrow Lake and Meteor Lake Industrial Mini-ITX Motherboard with Triple 2.5GbE and 12 to 28 V DC Input

A mobile robot, a hospital cart or a vision system in a 24 V machine cabinet has to run its software from whatever supply the machine provides, and a battery voltage moves with the charge. The ARH173 is a DFI industrial Mini-ITX motherboard that takes 12 to 28 V DC directly, with Intel Core Ultra mobile processors soldered on board and every listed Arrow Lake and Meteor Lake H and U option available.

For navigation and multi-camera inference, the 28 W H-series parts, the Core Ultra 7 265H, 255H, 165H and 155H and the Core Ultra 5 235H, 225H, 135H and 125H, add Intel Arc graphics, where DFI lists OpenVINO, DirectML and ONNX Runtime support. The 15 W U-series parts suit battery-powered designs where every watt counts, and they can take a fanless heatsink on request; the H parts use an active cooler as standard. The 265, 235, 165 and 135 processors support Intel vPro. Two DDR5 5200 MHz SO-DIMMs hold up to 128 GB in dual channel.

Three 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-V and I226-LM controllers connect cameras or a lidar, the vehicle or machine network and an uplink. An M.2 B-key with Nano SIM takes a cellular module for fleet connectivity, an E-key takes Wi-Fi, and an M.2 M-key runs NVMe at PCIe Gen4 x4 for logging, with two SATA 3.0 ports and a PCIe x4 Gen4 slot for a CAN or capture card. Four rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four USB 2.0 headers, four COM ports and 8-bit DIO serve motor controllers and sensors. DP++, HDMI, USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode and an optional M2A panel module give four displays.

The ARH173 takes 12 to 28 V DC on a barrel jack or 4-pin connector and operates from -5 to 65 °C, with CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance, a discrete TPM and a watchdog programmable from 1 to 255 seconds. DFI lists Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Linux. On a regulated 12 V supply, the ARH171 is the same board with a 12 V input.
