DFI CS100-Q370D Intel Coffee Lake Core Mini-ITX Mainboard with Q370 Chipset and Dual LAN

A fleet of kiosks, test stations or digital signage players spread across several sites is usually looked after by an IT team that would rather not send an engineer for every fault. The CS100-Q370D is the Q370 build in the DFI CS100 series of Mini-ITX mainboards, and it brings Intel AMT to that kind of fleet on a standard Mini-ITX footprint.

The LGA1151 socket accepts 8th and 9th Gen Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 processors, including the 65 W E and 35 W TE embedded parts, plus the Pentium G5400 and Celeron G4900. Intel AMT runs through the I219LM port when a Core i5 or i7 is fitted. Two DDR4 2400/2666 MHz SO-DIMMs hold up to 32 GB, and Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives dual-channel LVDS, VGA and two DP++ outputs, three at once, with hardware HEVC and VP9 decode.

The second GbE port runs on an Intel I210AT. At the rear there are two USB 3.1 Gen 2, two Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports, an RS-232 port on a DB9 connector and audio; inside, a second RS-232 header, 8-bit DIO and a full-size Mini PCIe socket that takes Wi-Fi or an mSATA drive. Three SATA 3.0 ports and a PCIe x16 Gen3 slot complete the expansion. This build has no TPM.

The CS100-Q370D runs from a 24-pin and 4-pin ATX supply and operates from 0 to 60 °C, with CE, FCC, UKCA, KC and RoHS compliance. CS100-Q370DRM is the same Q370 board with a discrete TPM 2.0 fitted, and CS100-H310D suits designs that need neither AMT nor USB 3.1 Gen 2.
