DFI CS100-Q370DRM Intel 8th and 9th Gen Core Mini-ITX Embedded Motherboard with Q370 Chipset and Dual LAN

Machines that hold operator credentials, customer data or licensed software on their drives often need a hardware root for encryption keys as well as remote management. The CS100-Q370DRM is the Q370 build with a discrete TPM 2.0 in the DFI CS100 series of Mini-ITX embedded motherboards, suited to self-service terminals, lab instruments and managed kiosks.

The LGA1151 socket takes 8th and 9th Gen Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 processors, from the 35 W TE parts to the 65 W Core i7-8700, as well as the Pentium G5400 and Celeron G4900. With a Core i5 or i7 fitted, Intel AMT runs through the I219LM GbE port. Two DDR4 2400/2666 MHz SO-DIMMs hold up to 32 GB, and Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives an internal dual-channel LVDS panel, VGA and two DP++ ports, three at once.

A second GbE port on an Intel I210AT keeps a device network apart from the uplink. Two USB 3.1 Gen 2, two Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports, an RS-232 DB9 port and audio sit at the rear; inside are a second RS-232 header that can supply power, 8-bit DIO and a full-size Mini PCIe socket for Wi-Fi or mSATA. Three SATA 3.0 ports and a PCIe x16 Gen3 slot take drives and an add-in card.

The CS100-Q370DRM runs from a 24-pin and 4-pin ATX supply and operates from 0 to 60 °C, with CE, FCC, UKCA, KC and RoHS compliance. CS100-Q370D is the same board without the TPM, and CS100-C246DRM adds Xeon E and ECC memory with the TPM kept.
