DFI EHL051-BCD-N6210 Dual-Core Intel Celeron N6210 Pico-ITX Motherboard with Dual GbE, HDMI and LVDS

A building management panel or a thin client on a retail counter spends its day showing a screen and passing data on, so a low power draw and a quiet, fanless board matter more than core count. The EHL051-BCD-N6210 is the dual-core Celeron build in the DFI EHL051 series of Pico-ITX motherboards, at 6.5 W the lowest-power indoor option.

The Intel Celeron N6210 (Elkhart Lake) has two cores at 1.2 GHz with bursts to 2.6 GHz and a 6.5 W TDP. One DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMM takes up to 32 GB of standard memory. Intel UHD Graphics drives HDMI at up to 4096 x 2160 and a dual-channel 18/24-bit LVDS panel at 1920 x 1200, two displays at once, which covers an integrated touch panel plus an external monitor.

Two GbE ports on Intel I226 controllers give separate links for the building network and local devices. Two RS-232/422/485 ports take BACnet MS/TP or Modbus RTU gateways, meters and controllers, 8-bit DIO handles contacts and relays, and two rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with two internal USB 2.0 headers add storage and peripherals. The M.2 E-key takes Wi-Fi, the M.2 B-key takes a cellular module with its SIM slot or an SSD, and a SATA 3.0 port adds a drive.

The EHL051-BCD-N6210 runs from 12 V DC on a 2-pin terminal block and operates from -5 to 65 °C on its fanless heatsink, with CE, FCC, UKCA, RoHS and KC compliance and TPM 2.0. The EHL051-BCD-J6412 doubles the cores for heavier indoor work, and EHL051-TCD-6211E is the dual-core choice rated from -40 to 85 °C.
