DFI HPT193-CB-8645HS 6-Core AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS Mini-ITX SBC with Dual 2.5GbE and Quad Display

Many operator stations run one HMI or SCADA client that depends on single-thread speed more than on core count, with trend views and alarm lists spread over several monitors. The HPT193-CB-8645HS is the six-core, 45 W build in the DFI HPT193 series of industrial Mini-ITX motherboards, and its processor has the highest base clock in the range.

The AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS (Hawk Point) has six cores and 12 threads at 4.3 GHz base and up to 5.0 GHz boost, with a 45 W TDP configurable from 35 to 54 W. Radeon 760M graphics with RDNA3 cores drive the displays, and two DDR5 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 96 GB at 4800 MHz with ECC or non-ECC modules.

Four DP++ outputs give four independent screens at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Networking is two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226. For the operator desk, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports sit at the rear, with five USB 2.0 ports inside, one of them a vertical Type-A that can hold a license dongle. Serial is RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 on DB9 plus two TTL and two ccTalk headers, and an 8-bit DIO header can drive stack lights or read push buttons. Expansion is a PCIe x16 slot with eight Gen4 lanes, an M.2 2280 socket for PCIe Gen4 x4 or SATA storage and two SATA ports.

The HPT193-CB-8645HS runs from 12 to 24 V DC on a 4-pin connector, with a DC jack on request, and operates from -5 to 65 °C, with CE, FCC and RoHS compliance and a TPM 2.0.
