DFI RPP051-TCD-1315URE 6-Core Intel Core i3-1315URE Pico-ITX Motherboard with 2.5GbE and -40 to 85 °C

Utility gateways, telemetry units and remote controllers in outdoor cabinets or substations typically run light, steady workloads but face the full seasonal temperature range. The RPP051-TCD-1315URE is the extended temperature Core i3 build of the DFI RPP051 series, rated from -40 to 85 °C: a fanless 2.5″ Pico-ITX motherboard, 100 x 72 mm, for integration into those enclosures.

The Intel Core i3-1315URE has six cores and eight threads at a 15 W TDP, running from 1.2 GHz up to 4.5 GHz. Intel UHD graphics decodes AV1, HEVC, VP9, AVC and MJPEG in hardware for a local display or camera feed. A single DDR5 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 32 GB at 4800 MHz, typically more than a telemetry or protocol gateway needs.

The M.2 B-key socket with nano SIM takes a 4G or 5G modem for backhaul from sites without a wired link, and the M.2 E-key socket takes Wi-Fi, alongside an Intel I226IT 2.5GbE port. The RS-232/422/485 port and 8-bit DIO connect meters, RTUs and relays, with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and two internal USB 2.0 ports for other devices. DP++ at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz and eDP at up to 4096 x 2160 drive a service display, and a second B-key socket takes PCIe x2 or SATA storage.

Power is 12 V DC on a terminal block and cooling is a passive heatsink. The board supports Windows 11, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit and Linux, with TPM 2.0, a watchdog timer programmable from 1 to 255 seconds and CE, FCC, UKCA, KC and RoHS compliance. The RPP051-TCD-1345URE brings ten cores and Iris Xe graphics to the same range, and the RPP051-ETD-U300E is a five-core option rated from -30 to 80 °C.
