DFI RPP173-IB-1315UE Intel Core i3-1315UE (Raptor Lake) Mini-ITX Mainboard with 9 to 36 V DC Input and Triple 2.5GbE

Conveyors, sorters and packaging lines in a warehouse run their controls from 24 V DC and rarely see frost, so the controller needs a wide DC input more than a wide temperature rating. The RPP173-IB-1315UE is the six-core Core i3 build in the DFI RPP173 series of Mini-ITX mainboards, with a 9 to 36 V DC input and a -5 to 65 °C rating.

The Intel Core i3-1315UE (13th Gen Raptor Lake) has six cores at up to 4.5 GHz, 10 MB cache and a TDP of up to 28 W, which covers sortation logic, barcode decoding and a local database. Two DDR5 5200 MHz SO-DIMMs take up to 64 GB. Intel UHD Graphics drives two DP++ outputs at up to 4096 x 2304 and 60 Hz and a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode for an operator panel.

Three 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226V and I226LM controllers split the scanner network, the controls network and the warehouse system. Four COM ports (two RS-232/422/485, two RS-232), 8-bit DIO, four rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and four internal USB 2.0 headers connect scales, label printers and photo-eyes. An M.2 M-key runs NVMe at PCIe Gen4 x4, the B-key and E-key take cellular and Wi-Fi, and a PCIe x4 Gen4 slot and two SATA ports add a card or drives.

The RPP173-IB-1315UE operates from -5 to 65 °C with an active cooler and carries CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance, a discrete TPM and support for Windows 11 and Linux. For an unheated loading bay, the RPP173-IE-1345UE adds ten cores and a -20 to 70 °C range; for lighter duty, RPP173-IB-U300E uses the five-core Intel Processor U300E.
