DFI TGU171-IB-6305E Intel Celeron 6305E Industrial Mini-ITX Motherboard with Triple LAN and Five Display Outputs

A ticket kiosk, a small line-side panel or a building gateway may never stretch four cores, but it still needs the same display, network and serial connections as a larger system. The TGU171-IB-6305E is the Celeron build in the DFI TGU171 series of industrial Mini-ITX motherboards, the entry point to the range at 15 W.

The Intel Celeron 6305E (11th Gen, Tiger Lake) has two cores at 1.8 GHz with 4 MB cache and a 15 W TDP. Two DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMMs take up to 64 GB. Intel UHD Graphics drives five display outputs, four active at once: rear HDMI, DP++ and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode at up to 3840 x 2160, plus internal eDP and dual-channel LVDS for an integrated panel.

Networking is two GbE ports on Intel I211AT or I210IT controllers and one 2.5GbE port on an Intel I225LM or I225IT controller. Four rear USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and four internal USB 2.0 headers take card readers, printers and touch controllers, and four COM ports with 8-bit DIO handle payment terminals, barriers and sensors. An M.2 M-key runs NVMe at PCIe Gen4 x4, the M.2 B-key takes a 4G or 5G module with its Nano-SIM socket, the E-key takes CNVi Wi-Fi, and two SATA ports and a PCIe x4 Gen3 slot are there if the design grows.

The TGU171-IB-6305E runs from 12 V DC on a barrel jack or 4-pin connector and operates from -5 to 65 °C with an active cooler as standard (a fanless heatsink is available on request), with CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance and a 1 to 255 second watchdog. The TGU171-IB-1115G4E is the Core i3 step up at the same temperature, and TGU171-IE-1185GRE brings four cores, Iris Xe and -20 to 70 °C operation.
