Forecr DSBOARD-ORNX-AC8 NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB Industrial Carrier Board with Four CSI Camera Connectors and Wide Temperature

Smart cameras, AMRs and inspection points with one or two models often fit the Orin Nano 8GB comfortably. The DSBOARD-ORNX-AC8 fits the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module to the Forecr DSBOARD-ORNX industrial carrier board.

The Orin Nano 8GB delivers 40 TOPS from an Ampere GPU and a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, with 8 GB of LPDDR5; on board Rev 2.0, Super Mode raises that to 67 TOPS. The DSBOARD-ORNX-AB8 moves up to the Orin NX 8GB, and the DSBOARD-ORNX-AC4 fits the Orin Nano 4GB. Cameras connect to four FPC connectors, two 22-pin 0.5 mm for 4-lane cameras and two 15-pin 1.0 mm for 2-lane cameras, which a DIP switch sets to 2x 4-lane or 4x 2-lane MIPI CSI-2. GMSL2 is not on the carrier; Forecr sells an eight-channel GMSL2 add-on board for Orin NX systems.

The DSBOARD-ORNX-AC8 has one Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports and HDMI 2.0 at 3840 x 2160 for data and display. A 14-pin terminal carries the CAN bus, two separate serial ports (one RS232 and one RS422), two digital inputs and two digital outputs. There are two M.2 Key-M slots for NVMe (2280 at PCIe x4 and 2230 at PCIe x1), an M.2 Key-E 2230 socket for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and an M.2 Key-B 3042 socket with nano-SIM for LTE or 5G.

The DSBOARD-ORNX-AC8 takes 9-28 V DC and is rated from -25 to +85 °C, with a 5 V fan header; Forecr lists Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 with JetPack 5.x and 6.x. Forecr’s change notice moves the DSBOARD-ORNX to board Rev 2.0 from 1 October 2026, with a 9-32 V DC input, a -40 to +85 °C rating, a CAN FD transceiver and Orin NX Super Mode support.
