MILBOX-AGX-SDI-64I Overview
Arctic patrols, high-altitude posts and winter vehicle operations push electronics below the -25°C floor of standard Jetson AGX Orin builds. The MILBOX-AGX-SDI-64I is the industrial tactical computer in the Forecr MILBOX-AGX-SDI series, built on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial module so that SDI video analytics keep running down to -40°C.
The Jetson AGX Orin Industrial carries 64GB of 256-bit LPDDR5x memory and runs deep neural networks, real-time video analytics and sensor fusion on the computer itself. Four SDI inputs on BNC connectors bring camera video straight into the module, so detection, tracking and recording run without a separate capture box. Forecr also builds the same four rear coax positions with 4x GMSL2 camera inputs, 4x analog video or 2x HD-SDI with 2x analog in place of the four SDI inputs. The MILBOX-AGX-SDI-64I supports Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 with JetPack 5.x or 6.x.
For networking and field I/O, the MILBOX-AGX-SDI-64I provides four Gigabit Ethernet ports, one USB 3.1 port, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 2.0 serial console, two CAN bus ports, four RS-232 ports and four RS-422 ports, plus one HDMI output for a local display. Storage uses 64GB of eMMC 5.1 flash and an SD card slot, with the single M.2 Key-M 2280 socket listed as occupied on the datasheet. Power comes from a 12-36 VDC input with a 28 VDC nominal rating, which suits the supplies found on military vehicles and aircraft.
Forecr designed the enclosure to meet MIL-STD-1275/704, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and IP67, and the datasheet gives an ambient range of -40°C to +70°C with this Industrial module. At 30 x 24 x 10 cm and 5.3 kg, this tactical computer suits vehicle, vessel and aircraft equipment bays. Where cold-start margin is less critical, the MILBOX-AGX-SDI-64S pairs the same SDI front end with the standard 64GB module.

Official Forecr USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Forecr USA distributor, and the MILBOX-AGX-SDI-64I is the cold-weather build of Forecr's SDI tactical computer, using the AGX Orin Industrial module for operation down to -40°C. The MILBOX-AGX keeps AGX Orin compute in a rugged enclosure without the SDI inputs, for systems whose cameras do not need SDI capture. The MILBOX-AGXMAX adds 10G Ethernet for high-bandwidth sensor networks on the same module generation, and the MILBOX-THR moves to the newer Jetson AGX Thor module for programs that need to run larger models at the edge.
In our catalog, the MILBOX-AGX-SDI-64I sits with other wide temperature computers because its Industrial module extends the operating range to -40°C, a margin that matters for arctic vehicles and high-altitude posts. It also belongs among our rugged mission computers alongside other sealed systems for defense programs, and in our rugged Jetson computers range for buyers comparing AGX Orin systems by environment, connectors and power input rather than by module alone. Its 12-36 VDC input and CAN bus ports also suit armoured and support vehicles.
