Giada D612 Intel 12th Gen Core Digital Signage Computers with Quad 4K HDMI

Retail chains, hotels, venues and transport operators often roll the same multi-screen layout out across many sites, and a settled 12th Gen build is easy to standardize on. The Giada D612 series is a book-size digital signage computer with four independent 4K HDMI outputs, so one unit can run a menu board, a small video wall or four separate screens. It uses 12th Gen Intel Core (Alder Lake-P) processors at 15 W base power. Giada describes it as an Alder Lake book-size signage player, and the four outputs are independent, so each screen can show its own content.

Two builds are offered. The D612-1215U has the Core i3-1215U with six cores, eight threads and Intel UHD Graphics, and the D612-1235U has the Core i5-1235U with ten cores, 12 threads and Iris Xe Graphics. Both support DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0, with hardware decoding of 8K HEVC and VP9 content at 60 fps. Memory is two DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM slots up to 64 GB, and an M-Key M.2 2280 slot with PCIe 4.0 x4 holds the SSD.

Each HDMI 2.0 port runs at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz. As an optional factory build, two HDMI ports are replaced by a DP1.4 output at up to 7680 x 4320 for an 8K screen. Other I/O covers a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, an RS232 port, a headset jack and one GbE port on Intel i219-LM. An E-Key M.2 slot takes an optional Wi-Fi card, and a B-Key M.2 3042/3052 slot with SIM takes an optional Quectel EM12 4G or RM500Q 5G module.

The D612 series runs from a 19 V DC adapter and operates from 0 °C to 45 °C at up to 95% humidity (non-condensing), with CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. Smart fan control is set in the BIOS, a watchdog timer and auto power on suit unattended screens, TPM 2.0 is optional, and an optional VESA kit mounts the computer behind a display. Giada lists Windows 11 and Ubuntu for these signage computers. In practice these players suit retail, hospitality, corporate and transport signage indoors, wherever the screens run for long hours and are managed remotely. Both builds share the same chassis, ports and outputs, so a mixed estate can use one mounting and cabling plan.
