Giada D613-U1 Intel 13th Gen Core Multi-Screen Signage Players with 2.5GbE and DDR5

Multi-screen signage that refreshes large playlists over the network, or video walls fed with high-bitrate content, gains from faster memory and a faster wired link. The Giada D613-U1 series keeps the book-size chassis and four independent 4K HDMI outputs of the D613 and changes two things: DDR5-5200 memory up to 96 GB in place of DDR4-3200 up to 64 GB, and a 2.5GbE port in place of GbE. The ports, outputs and chassis are otherwise the same as the D613, so the two series can share mounting, cabling and signage software across a mixed estate.

Two builds are offered on 13th Gen Intel Core (Raptor Lake-P) processors at 15 W base power. The D613-U1-1315U has the Core i3-1315U with six cores, eight threads and Intel UHD Graphics, and the D613-U1-1335U has the Core i5-1335U with ten cores, 12 threads and Iris Xe Graphics. Both support DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and OpenCL 3.0 and decode 8K HEVC and VP9 content at 60 fps in hardware. An M-Key M.2 2280 slot with PCIe 4.0 x4 holds the SSD, and Giada lists Windows 11, Ubuntu and ChromeOS Flex.

Each HDMI 2.0 port runs at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz, and an optional factory build replaces two of them with a DP1.4 output at up to 7680 x 4320. Networking is one 2.5GbE RJ45 port on an Intel I226-LM controller. Other I/O covers a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, an RS232 port and a headset jack. An E-Key M.2 slot takes an optional Wi-Fi card, and a B-Key slot with SIM takes an optional Quectel 4G or 5G module.

The D613-U1 series runs from a 19 V DC adapter and operates from 0 °C to 45 °C at 10 to 90% humidity (non-condensing), with CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. Smart fan control is set in the BIOS, a watchdog timer and auto power on are built in, TPM 2.0 is optional, and an optional VESA kit mounts these multi-screen signage players behind a display. In practice these players suit retail, hospitality, corporate and transport signage indoors, wherever the screens run for long hours and are managed remotely. Both builds share the same chassis, ports and outputs, so a mixed estate can use one mounting and cabling plan.
