Giada VM27-N6415 Quad-Core Intel Pentium N6415 Fanless Signage Player with Dual 4K Output

Two-screen menu boards, interactive wayfinding and signage players running a browser-based content app all ask a little more of the processor than a single looping video. The Giada VM27-N6415 is the four-core build of the VM27 series for that work, a fanless signage player using the Intel Pentium N6415 from the Elkhart Lake family.

The Pentium N6415 has four cores at up to 3.0 GHz and a 6.5 W TDP, with Intel UHD Graphics for 4K playback. Memory is 4 GB of onboard LPDDR4-2666, with 8 GB as an option, and 64 GB of onboard eMMC 5.1 holds the operating system and media, with 32 GB as an option. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket takes an mSATA drive if content libraries grow. The VM27-N6210 and VM27-N6211 use dual-core Celeron processors in the same design.

One HDMI and one DisplayPort output each run up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, so the VM27-N6415 can drive two screens with independent content. Four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports at 10 Gbps, a DB9 RS232 port and separate microphone and audio-out jacks cover touch overlays, display control and sound. Networking is a Realtek gigabit Ethernet port, with an M.2 E-Key slot for an optional Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 card. Remote power on, watchdog, auto power on and a real-time clock support unattended schedules.

The player is fanless, runs from a 19 V DC input, and is rated from 0 °C to 45 °C at up to 95% humidity, non-condensing, with CE, FCC Class B and UKCA marks. A VESA kit is optional. Things Embedded supplies the VM27-N6415 with a Windows 11 or Linux image installed on its onboard storage and the player tested before it ships.
