NRU-162S-FT Overview
Many robots and inspection vehicles already use IP or GigE cameras, and powering them from the computer removes a switch and its wiring from a crowded body. The NRU-162S-FT supplies PoE+ on four sealed M12 ports. It is the PoE+ build of the Neousys NRU-160-FT series of robotics computers, with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX or Orin Nano and a flattop heatsink.
The Jetson module is chosen at order: Orin NX with 16 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR5, or Orin Nano with 8 GB or 4 GB. Neousys rates the series at up to 100 sparse TOPS of INT8 and up to eighteen 1080p transcoded streams within 25 W, which suits detection, tracking and recording across four camera feeds on the NRU-162S-FT.
Four GbE ports by Intel I350-AM4 on X-coded M12 connectors supply 802.3at PoE+ from a 50 W total budget, and a fifth M12 GbE port links LiDAR or a second computer. CAN FD and RS-232 share an M12 connector, an isolated GPS PPS input aligns sensor timing, and two USB 2.0 ports and a VGA output also use M12. A mini PCIe socket and an M.2 B key socket with dual micro SIM support take Wi-Fi, 4G or 5G, and storage is M.2 2242 NVMe at PCIe Gen3 x1. For automotive cameras, the NRU-161V-FT carries six GMSL2 inputs.
Power is 8 to 35 V DC with ignition control on a 5-pin M12, with the minimum input rising to 12 V or 20 V at higher system loads. The NRU-162S-FT runs from -25 °C to 70 °C when mounted on a metal plate, with MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock, and weighs 1.5 kg.

Official Neousys USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Neousys USA distributor, supplying the NRU-162S-FT for robots and vehicles with IP or GigE cameras. The NRU-150-FT offers four 2.5GbE PoE+ ports on Jetson Orin NX for cabinet installs. For x86 PoE+ workloads behind a flattop heatsink, the POC-700-FT runs an Intel Core i3-N305. Each of these conducts heat into the surrounding metal instead of relying on airflow. The M12 connectors on this build keep camera cabling sealed on exposed robots.
Across our range, the NRU-162S-FT appears with our NVIDIA Jetson PoE systems and our industrial Jetson computers, where M12 PoE+ and CAN FD in a 49 mm chassis stand out. It also sits with our PoE+ computers, and the -25 °C to 70 °C rating suits outdoor robots and machines. The extra M12 GbE port links LiDAR or a second computer, and the -25 °C to 70 °C rating with ignition control suits outdoor vehicle duty through the year.
