Neousys Nuvo-7108VTC Intel Core i7/i5/i3 9th Gen In-Vehicle Computer with 8x RJ45 PoE+ and Isolated CAN

The Neousys Nuvo-7108VTC is a fanless in-vehicle computer with eight PoE+ ports on RJ45 connectors, built to record and analyze onboard cameras in buses, trains and service vehicles. Storage is a hot-swappable 2.5-inch tray and an internal bay with RAID 0 or 1, so recordings can be mirrored. It is the 8x RJ45 PoE+ version of the Nuvo-7100VTC series.

Inside the Nuvo-7108VTC is an LGA1151 socket for 35 W Intel 9th or 8th Gen Core processors: Core i7-9700TE or i7-8700T, i5-9500TE or i5-8500T, and i3-9100TE or i3-8100T. The Q370 chipset supports Intel AMT 12.0 and TPM 2.0, two SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB of DDR4-2666, and Intel UHD Graphics 630 drive VGA, DVI-D and a 4K DisplayPort output.

Alongside its camera ports, the unit carries two further GbE ports by Intel I219 and I210 controllers, four USB 3.1 Gen 2 and four Gen 1 ports, two RS-232/422/485 and two RS-232 ports, an isolated CAN 2.0 port, four isolated inputs and four isolated outputs, mic-in and speaker-out, an M.2 NVMe socket, an mSATA socket, three full-size mini PCIe sockets with SIM slots and two M.2 B key sockets for LTE.

Power is 8 to 35 V DC with built-in ignition control, plus a terminal block for a remote power switch and LED. The unit runs fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C, meets IEC 61373 Category 1 Class B (body mounted) for vibration and shock, and carries E-Mark, EN 50121 and CE and FCC Class A. Wall mounting on damping brackets is standard and DIN rail mounting is optional. The Nuvo-7104VTC has four RJ45 ports, and the Nuvo-7250VTC series adds SuperCAP power backup.
