Neousys PCIe-GL26 AI Frame Grabber Cards with Jetson Xavier NX and Six GMSL2 Inputs
The Neousys PCIe-GL26 series is a family of AI frame grabber cards that carry an NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX module, six GMSL2 inputs on FAKRA Z connectors, a GPS PPS input, isolated CAN 2.0 and RS-232 on one half-length PCIe card. The host link is Gen3 PCIe x2. The series suits ADAS, autonomous vehicle and outdoor vision systems.
- Onboard Jetson Xavier NX: 8GB or 16GB module with Volta GPU, Carmel CPU and JetPack, and 21 TOPS stated for the series.
- Six GMSL2 Inputs: Six 3 Gbps ports on FAKRA Z connectors with drivers for selected automotive cameras.
- Microsecond Frame Sync: Six-camera capture within microseconds of skew, plus a GPS PPS input for LiDAR alignment.
- PCIe x2 Gen3 Host Link: 10 Gb/s total bandwidth per card, with up to four cards and 24 streams per host.
- CAN and Serial I/O: One isolated CAN 2.0 port, one RS-232 port and an M.2 2242 NVMe socket.

PCIe-GL26 Description
Autonomous vehicles and ADAS test vehicles often run on powerful x86 computers that have no native input for automotive cameras, and sensor fusion adds processing load on top. Automotive GMSL2 cameras suit this work because of their IP67 sealing, 120 dB HDR, auto white balance and LED flicker mitigation, which hold image quality from bright sun to darkness. The Neousys PCIe-GL26 series brings those cameras into an x86 host through a family of AI frame grabber cards, each carrying its own NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX module.
Every card has six GMSL2 ports at 3 Gbps on FAKRA Z connectors, with a pre-installed driver for selected cameras and video streaming sample code for the host. A synchronization mechanism acquires images from all six cameras within microseconds of channel-to-channel skew, and a GPS PPS input aligns image data with LiDAR or with a PCIe-GL26 in another host. The card connects over Gen3 PCI Express x2 at 10 Gb/s total bandwidth, and a host can take up to four cards for 24 camera streams. The Jetson Xavier NX module, with a Volta GPU, Carmel CPU, 16GB eMMC 5.1 and JetPack, gives the series 21 TOPS and up to 22 streams of 1080p30 encoding, so the card works as a camera sensor hub for pre-processing and fusion. One isolated CAN 2.0 port, one RS-232 port and an M.2 2242 NVMe socket complete the deployment I/O.
The two builds differ in module memory. The PCIe-GL26-JXN8 uses the Xavier NX 8GB with LPDDR4x at 1600 MHz in 15W TDP mode. The PCIe-GL26-JXN16 uses the Xavier NX 16GB with LPDDR4x at 1866 MHz in 20W TDP mode, for workloads that need the larger memory. Both share the same inputs, host interface and mechanical design.
Neousys rates the cards for -25 to 60 °C with airflow in 20W TDP mode, and a wide-temperature NVMe is needed for sub-zero or above-60 °C operation. Storage is -40 to 85 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing. Each half-length, standard-height, single-slot card measures 167.7 x 111 mm and weighs 0.43 kg. A 12 V DC input, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, micro USB OTG and a 4K60 DisplayPort are for development. EMC is CE and FCC Class A to EN 55032/55035. Optional accessories include Sony IMX390 and onsemi AR0233 cameras and 7 m FAKRA cables, and Neousys names ADAS and autonomous vehicles as applications.

Official Neousys USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Neousys USA distributor, supplying the PCIe-GL26 series for USA autonomous vehicle and ADAS programs. Within the Neousys range the PCIe-NPL54 captures four GMSL2 streams fanless where the host runs the AI, and the PCIe-NX154 series uses a Jetson Orin NX with PoE+ cameras.
The PCIe-GL26 series sits among our GMSL2 frame grabbers, our frame grabber cards and our PCIe video capture cards. Where an x86 vehicle computer needs six synchronized automotive cameras with sensor fusion running on the card itself, this is the Neousys series to specify.
