PCIe-GL26-JXN8 Overview
Automotive GMSL2 cameras bring 120 dB HDR, LED flicker mitigation and IP67 sealing to outdoor vision, but most x86 vehicle computers have no input for them, and running AI on six streams takes host resources. The PCIe-GL26-JXN8 is the 8GB build in the Neousys PCIe-GL26 series: an AI frame grabber card with its own NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX module and six GMSL2 inputs on a half-length, single-slot PCIe card.
Six GMSL2 ports run at 3 Gbps each on FAKRA Z connectors, and Neousys pre-installs the driver for selected cameras along with video streaming sample code. The card connects to the host over Gen3 PCI Express x2, which Neousys rates at 10 Gb/s total bandwidth. Images from all six inputs are acquired within microseconds of channel-to-channel skew, and one host can take up to four cards for 24 camera streams.
The onboard Jetson Xavier NX 8GB pairs a Volta GPU and Carmel CPU with 8GB LPDDR4x at 1600 MHz in 15W TDP mode, plus 16GB of eMMC 5.1 and JetPack. That lets the card act as a camera sensor hub, pre-processing data for ADAS or autonomous vehicles before passing it to the host. A GPS PPS input aligns frames with LiDAR or with a PCIe-GL26 in another host, and the card adds one isolated CAN 2.0 and one RS-232 port. The PCIe-GL26-JXN16 doubles the memory to 16GB, and the PCIe-NPL54 is a fanless four-input card without a module. See our guide to the Jetson GMSL interface.
Neousys quotes -25 to 60 °C operation with airflow in 20W TDP mode, and a wide-temperature NVMe SSD is needed below 0 °C or above 60 °C; the M.2 2242 M key socket runs at PCIe Gen3 x1. Storage is -40 to 85 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing. The card measures 167.7 x 111 mm and weighs 0.43 kg. Development I/O covers Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, micro USB OTG, a 4K60 DisplayPort and a 12 V DC input for development only. EMC is CE and FCC Class A to EN 55032/55035.

Official Neousys USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Neousys USA distributor, supplying the PCIe-GL26-JXN8 for USA ADAS and autonomous vehicle programs. Within the Neousys range the PCIe-GL26-JXN16 carries the 16GB module for workloads that need more memory, and the PCIe-NX156 series pairs a Jetson Orin NX with six USB 3.2 ports.
As a six-input GMSL2 card with onboard AI, the PCIe-GL26-JXN8 sits among our GMSL camera cards, our machine vision frame grabbers and our PCIe expansion cards. Where six vehicle cameras need synchronized capture and the 8GB module covers the workload, this is the build to specify.
