POC-764VR Overview
Losing a recording because a single drive failed is one of the most common faults in small surveillance systems, especially on vehicles. The POC-764VR is a fanless surveillance PC from Neousys that builds on the POC-700 design with a hardware RAID controller for two 2.5″ SSDs, four PoE+ ports for IP cameras and ignition power control.
The POC-764VR uses the Intel Alder Lake Core i3-N305 with eight cores and eight threads at 1.8 GHz base and 3.8 GHz burst, in a 15W envelope. Its UHD Graphics with 32 execution units supports Intel OpenVINO for real-time AI inference on camera feeds. Memory is up to 16 GB of DDR5-4800 in one SODIMM socket, and dTPM 2.0 is supported.
Four Intel I350-AM4 GbE ports carry 802.3at PoE+ for IP cameras, with locking RJ45 connectors, and an Intel I226-IT 2.5GbE port links to the backbone network. The two internal 2.5″ SATA bays run hardware RAID 0, RAID 1 or JBOD, with hot-swapping available in RAID 1, and an M.2 2280 M key socket takes an NVMe SSD at PCIe Gen3 x1 or a SATA SSD. Four screw-lock USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, DP++ and HDMI 1.4b outputs, four COM ports and 4-channel isolated DI and DO complete the panel, and two mini-PCIe sockets with micro SIM add Wi-Fi, LTE or 5G, or CAN.
Power is 8 to 35V DC through a pluggable terminal block with built-in ignition control, so the POC-764VR suits buses and service vehicles as well as fixed sites. It runs fanless from -10°C to 55°C, and the optional fan kit extends operation to 70°C. The 175.8 x 115.5 x 67.9 mm enclosure weighs 1.45 kg, mounts on a DIN rail as standard and is tested to MIL-STD-810H for vibration and shock.

Official Neousys USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Neousys USA distributor, supplying Neousys surveillance and in-vehicle computers to USA transport and security projects. If the POC-764VR is close but not exact, the POC-700 series uses the same Core i3-N305 with 4x PoE+ but without the RAID bays. The POC-751VTC adds E-Mark certification and SocketCAN for vehicles, and the NRU-220S series moves to NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin for heavier video analytics.
Across categories, the POC-764VR is listed with our industrial NVRs for recording at the edge. Hardware RAID 1 is the main reason to choose it, because a failed SSD can be replaced while the system keeps recording. Its ignition control and DIN-rail mounting suit vehicles and small cabinets equally, and the 2.5GbE port keeps upload times short. An optional fan kit raises the operating limit from 55°C to 70°C for warm cabinets.
