Neousys SEMIL-1300 Intel Xeon E and 9th/8th Gen Core Half-Rack Military Computers with M12 PoE+

Military vehicles, command posts and rail cabinets need a computer that fits a standard 19-inch rack, survives shock and extreme temperatures without a fan, and keeps its cabling locked. The Neousys SEMIL-1300 series is a half-rack military computer built for that work, with locking M12 connectors on its camera, USB, video and serial ports and a fanless chassis that runs from -40 °C to 70 °C.

Every model has an LGA1151 socket for Intel Xeon E-2278GE, E-2278GEL or E-2176G, or 9th and 8th Gen Core i7, i5 and i3 processors. The C246 chipset supports AMT 12.0 and TPM 2.0, two SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB of DDR4-2666 with or without ECC, and storage is two internal SATA bays with RAID 0 or 1, an M.2 NVMe socket and two mSATA sockets. The PoE+ ports power cameras and sensors directly at up to 25.5 W each, so no separate PoE switch is needed in the rack.

There are four versions. The SEMIL-1301 is the base model, and the SEMIL-1301-10G adds a 10GbE port on M12 by an Intel X550 controller for sensor or video backhaul. The SEMIL-1311J adds a built-in SuperCAP UPS with 2500 watt-seconds of stored energy for clean shutdown when power drops, and the SEMIL-1311J-10G combines the UPS with the 10GbE port.

All versions share four IEEE 802.3at PoE+ GbE ports on M12 X-coded connectors, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 and two M12 USB 2.0 ports, VGA on M12 and a 4K DisplayPort output, two three-wire RS-232 ports on M12, an RS-232/422/485 port and an RS-232 port on DB9, a mic-in and speaker-out jack, two mini PCIe sockets, an M.2 B key socket for 4G or 5G and an M.2 E key socket for Wi-Fi. Power is 8 to 48 V DC with built-in ignition control. The system runs fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C with a 35 W CPU (to 50 °C with a 65 W CPU at full power), meets MIL-STD-810G for vibration and shock, and carries EN 50121 (the EN 50155 EMC standard) with CE and FCC Class A. Rack and wall mounting are both supported.
