Neousys SEMIL-1700 Intel Xeon E and 9th/8th Gen Core IP67 Military Grade Computers with 4 or 8 M12 PoE+
The Neousys SEMIL-1700 series is a family of IP67 military grade computers on Intel Xeon E or 9th and 8th Gen Core processors, with four or eight M12 PoE+ ports and every connector sealed. They run fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C on 8 to 48 V DC with ignition control. Versions add a 10GbE port, a SuperCAP UPS, or both.
- IP67 With All-M12 Connectors: Every port is a sealed M12 connector, so the computer mounts in wet or dusty places without an enclosure.
- Intel Xeon E or 9th/8th Gen Core: Xeon E-2278GE, E-2278GEL or E-2176G, or Core i7/i5/i3, with up to 64 GB ECC DDR4.
- Four or Eight M12 PoE+ Ports: Four or eight IEEE 802.3at PoE+ GbE ports on M12 X-coded connectors, with a 10GbE option.
- SuperCAP UPS Option: The J versions add a 2500 watt-second supercapacitor UPS for clean shutdown on power loss.
- -40 to 70 °C, 8 to 48 V DC: Fanless wide temperature operation with ignition control, MIL-STD-810G and EN 50121 EMC.

SEMIL-1700 Description
Vehicles that are hosed down, deck-mounted equipment and roadside installations need a computer that keeps water and dust out without an enclosure. The Neousys SEMIL-1700 series is an IP67 military grade computer with every port on a sealed M12 connector, in a fanless half-rack chassis that mounts in a 19-inch rack or on a wall and runs from -40 °C to 70 °C. Two units can also sit side by side in one 19-inch rack space.
Every model has an LGA1151 socket for Intel Xeon E-2278GE, E-2278GEL or E-2176G, or 9th and 8th Gen Core i7, i5 and i3 processors. The C246 chipset supports AMT 12.0 and TPM 2.0, two SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB of DDR4-2666 with or without ECC, and storage is two internal SATA bays with RAID 0 or 1, an M.2 NVMe socket and two mSATA sockets. Power arrives on an M12 S-coded connector, with the ignition signal on the M12 serial connector. Each unit is built to the same specification as Neousys tests it, so spares and replacements match the original across a fleet.
There are eight versions. The SEMIL-1704 has four PoE+ ports and two USB ports, and the SEMIL-1708 has eight PoE+ ports, four USB ports, M12 audio and two more mini PCIe sockets. The SEMIL-1704-10G and SEMIL-1708-10G add a 10GbE port on M12. The SEMIL-1714J and SEMIL-1718J add a 2500 watt-second SuperCAP UPS, and the SEMIL-1714J-10G and SEMIL-1718J-10G combine the UPS with 10GbE.
Every version has PoE+ at up to 25.5 W per port, VGA and two three-wire RS-232 ports on M12, and mSATA and mini PCIe expansion for LTE or Wi-Fi. The sealed chassis needs no separate enclosure, which saves weight, space and cabling in a vehicle or on a mast. Power is 8 to 48 V DC with built-in ignition control. The system runs fanless from -40 °C to 70 °C with a 35 W CPU (to 50 °C with a 65 W CPU at full power), meets MIL-STD-810G for vibration and shock, and carries EN 50121 (the EN 50155 EMC standard) with CE and FCC Class A. Rack and wall mounting are both supported.
