Nexcom NDiS B337-4C Intel Celeron J3455 Wide Temperature Digital Signage Player with 6x USB Ports

Self-service kiosks and vending machines often have more serial devices than screens: a receipt printer, a card reader, a coin or note handler and a barcode scanner can all want their own port. The NDiS B337-4C is the Digital Signage Player in the Nexcom NDiS B337 series built for that layout, keeping the quad-core Intel Celeron J3455 and dual HDMI outputs of the NDiS B337 while adding four RS232 ports and more USB.

The Celeron J3455 runs at up to 2.3 GHz within 10 W, and Intel HD Graphics 500 drives two HDMI 1.4b outputs at 3840 x 2160 and 30 Hz for a main screen and a second display. One DDR3L SO-DIMM socket takes up to 8 GB at 1866 MHz, and an M.2 2242 Key M SSD holds the operating system and content. The NDiS B337-4C runs Windows 10 64-bit or Linux.

The front panel carries two GbE ports, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, mic-in and line-out, a power button and a locking DC jack. The rear adds four RS232 DB9 ports and two more USB 2.0 ports, giving six USB in total. A full-size mini-PCIe socket with an onboard nano SIM slot takes a Wi-Fi or LTE module, with two antenna holes for the aerials, and a TPM module connector is provided on the NDiS B337-4C.

The player runs fanless from -20 °C to 60 °C and is rated to 50 G shock and 2 Grms vibration, which suits outdoor kiosks and ticket machines as well as indoor counters. Power is 12 V DC with a 60 W locking adapter included. With its wall-mount bracket this Digital Signage Player measures 224 x 152.6 x 39.8 mm, and it carries CE, FCC Class A and LVD approval.
