Nexcom NISE 70 Intel Tiger Lake Low-Profile Fanless Computers with 4x HDMI and 3x GbE

Industrial sites increasingly want one compact computer that can talk to machines over Modbus, push data upstream over Ethernet or cellular, and drive screens on a line or control desk. The Nexcom NISE 70 series is built for that mix. Nexcom describes it as the first system in its slim NISE 50 line to support four independent displays and DDR4 3200 memory up to 32 GB, and these Fanless Computers keep the low-profile, 37.7 mm form of that line.

Every NISE 70 uses an onboard Tiger Lake-UP3 processor with one DDR4 3200 SO-DIMM socket for up to 32 GB. Four HDMI ports on the front support 4K at 30 Hz, beside three Intel GbE ports, two on I211 and one on I219LM, with Wake on LAN, teaming and PXE. The rear carries three USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, two DB9 COM ports, COM1 RS232/422/485 with auto flow control and COM2 full RS232, a remote power switch header and the 12 V to 24 V DC input. A mini-PCIe socket takes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE or mSATA, an M.2 Key B or B+M socket takes 4G LTE, 5G or SATA storage, and there are four GPI, four GPO and TPM 2.0.

Three versions differ by processor and cooling. The NISE 70-T01 uses the dual-core Intel Celeron 6305E and is fanless, rated from -5 °C to 55 °C. The NISE 70-T02 uses the Intel Core i5-1145G7E and the NISE 70-T03 the Intel Core i7-1185G7E; Nexcom ships both with a fan as standard and offers them fanless with the processor limited to a 15 W TDP, with an operating range of 0 °C to 50 °C.

Nexcom positions the NISE 70 series as an intelligent IoT gateway for M2M systems, with Ethernet and serial ports aimed at Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU and wireless sockets for remote links. The aluminum and metal case measures 198.8 x 150.4 x 37.7 mm with its wall-mount bracket, is rated to 50 G shock and 2 Grms vibration with M.2 or mSATA storage, and carries CE and FCC Class A approval. These Fanless Computers run Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit or Linux kernel 4.19, with an optional 24 V, 60 W adapter.
