X-300-Q370 Overview
A socketed processor lets a kiosk or signage build choose its CPU to match the software, and change it later without a new board. The X-300-Q370 is the Q370 build in the Nexcom X300 series: a Mini-ITX motherboard with an LGA1151 socket for 8th and 9th Gen Intel Core processors, three HDMI outputs and a PCIe x16 slot.
Nexcom lists Core i3, i5, i7 and i9 processors from the 8th Gen Coffee Lake and 9th Gen Coffee Lake Refresh families, from the i3-8100T and i3-8300 to the i9-9900T, and all use the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630. Two 260-pin DDR4-2400/2666 non-ECC SO-DIMM sockets take up to 32 GB. Three HDMI 2.0 outputs each run at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, so the board drives three 4K screens on its own.
I/O covers two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel i219-LM and i211-AT controllers with PXE boot and wake on LAN, four USB 3.0 ports on the edge, six USB 2.0 on headers, one RS-232/422/485 and two RS-232 ports on JST connectors, 4-in/4-out GPIO, Realtek ALC3251 audio with line-out and mic-in, a watchdog timer and an onboard TPM 2.0 IC. Storage is an M.2 2280 Key M socket for SATA or PCIe NVMe SSDs plus a 7-pin SATA 6 Gb/s port that takes a SATA-DOM, and expansion is a PCIe x16 slot and an M.2 2230 Key E socket for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The X-300-H310 is the H310 build with two HDMI plus LVDS, and the X304 moves to 12th and 13th Gen Core in an LGA1700 socket.
Power is +12 V DC only, through a DC jack on the edge or a 4-pin right-angle connector, with AT or ATX mode set by jumper. The X-300-Q370 operates from 0 to 60 °C and handles humidity up to 95%, non-condensing. The board measures 170 x 170 mm in the standard Mini-ITX size, with a matching CPU cooler available. It meets CE under EN 55032 and EN 55024 and carries an FCC Class A mark under Part 15B.

Official NEXCOM USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Nexcom USA distributor, supplying the X-300-Q370 configured for USA kiosk and signage projects. Within the Nexcom range the X302 keeps the LGA1151 socket and adds six COM ports with VGA for test equipment, and the X304-Q670W takes 12th and 13th Gen Core in an LGA1700 socket.
With three HDMI and a PCIe x16 slot the X-300-Q370 sits among our industrial Mini-ITX motherboards and our industrial motherboards. Where a kiosk or signage player needs three 4K screens and an add-in card from a socketed 8th or 9th Gen Core processor on 12 V DC, this is the configuration to specify.
