NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Modules with up to 67 TOPS and 260-Pin SO-DIMM
The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano series is a family of entry-level system-on-modules with Ampere GPUs, a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and LPDDR5, offered with 4GB or 8GB of memory. The modules share a 260-pin SO-DIMM connector with eight MIPI CSI-2 lanes, PCIe Gen3 and GbE, and reach 34 or 67 TOPS with JetPack 6.2 Super Mode. The Jetson Orin Nano series suits smart camera, sensing, robotics and IoT deployments.
- Ampere GPU with Tensor Cores: 512 or 1024 CUDA cores with 16 or 32 Tensor Cores give 20 or 40 sparse INT8 TOPS, depending on the module.
- JetPack 6.2 Super Mode: NVIDIA Super Mode raises the modules to 34 or 67 TOPS, with a 25 W mode and MAXN SUPER.
- 6-Core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU: Six Cortex-A78AE cores at up to 1.5 GHz, or 1.7 GHz under Super Mode, with LPDDR5 memory.
- 8 CSI Lanes and PCIe Gen3: Eight MIPI CSI-2 lanes, PCIe Gen3 as one x4 and three x1 links, 3x USB 3.2 and GbE reach the carrier.
- 260-Pin SO-DIMM Connector: The same connector as the Orin NX modules, so a carrier designed for the family can step up without a redesign.
Jetson Orin Nano Description
Entry-level vision products tend to run for years once a carrier board is settled, and the module that goes into each batch has to stay the same, from the first pilot units to the last replacement. The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano series is the smallest-budget Orin module family, and NVIDIA quotes it at up to 140x the performance of the original Jetson Nano, which it lists through January 2027.
Each Jetson Orin Nano module uses an NVIDIA Ampere GPU with Tensor Cores, a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU at up to 1.5 GHz and LPDDR5 memory. The connector carries eight MIPI CSI-2 lanes (D-PHY 2.1), PCIe Gen3 as one x4 and three x1 links, 3x USB 3.2, 3x USB 2.0 and GbE, with DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 or eDP 1.4 at up to 4K30. The video engine decodes 1x 4K60 H.265, and NVIDIA lists encode at 1080p30 in software. Storage is external NVMe. JetPack 6.2 adds NVIDIA’s Super Mode, with a 25 W mode, MAXN SUPER and a 1.7 GHz CPU, where the thermal design allows.
The range has two modules. The Jetson Orin Nano 4GB Module has a 512-core GPU with 16 Tensor Cores and 4 GB of 64-bit LPDDR5 for 20 TOPS at 5 W to 10 W, or 34 TOPS under Super Mode. The Jetson Orin Nano 8GB Module has a 1024-core GPU with 32 Tensor Cores and 8 GB of 128-bit LPDDR5 for 40 TOPS at 7 W to 15 W, or 67 TOPS under Super Mode. Both share the SO-DIMM connector with the Orin NX modules, so NVIDIA’s reference carrier accepts all of them.
Jetson Orin Nano modules are typical in smart cameras, people and vehicle counting, small mobile robots and sensing nodes, where low power, a fanless design and a small bill of materials matter. The module is rated for a junction temperature of -25 to 90 °C, with a 5 to 20 V input. NVIDIA lists the Jetson Orin Nano 4GB and 8GB as available through January 2032, giving Jetson Orin Nano designs a long supply window, with the Orin NX modules as the step up on the same connector.

NVIDIA Jetson Modules
We supply NVIDIA Jetson modules fitted, imaged and tested in a carrier board or system as standard, as well as sourcing modules for production runs and last-time-buy needs. The Jetson Orin Nano modules sit in our Jetson Orin Nano range, next to the Jetson Orin NX modules that share the same connector.
Carriers for the modules are grouped under Jetson Orin Nano carrier boards, and the wider NVIDIA Jetson Orin carrier boards range adds AGX Orin carriers.
