Premio RCO-1000-X6425E-30-2P Quad-Core Intel Atom x6425E Rugged Mini PC with 2x PoE GbE and 4x LAN

IP cameras and network sensors are simpler to install when the computer powers them over the same cable that carries their data. The Premio RCO-1000-X6425E-30-2P is the PoE build of the RCO-1000-EHL series, a fanless rugged mini PC on the Intel Atom x6425E with two IEEE 802.3af PoE ports fitted.

Inside, the RCO-1000-X6425E-30-2P runs an Intel Atom x6425E, a quad-core Elkhart Lake processor with a 12 W TDP and Intel UHD Graphics. One DDR4 SO-DIMM takes up to 32 GB, TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 and Linux are supported. Storage runs from a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay and an mSATA socket, and an M.2 B key socket takes an optional 4G module with two external SIM sockets. The full-size mini PCIe socket carries the PoE module on this build.

Two PoE GbE ports deliver up to 15.4 W each and 30 W in total, beside an Intel I225 2.5GbE and an Intel I210 GbE port, for four RJ45 in total. The rest of the I/O covers two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs at up to 4K 60 Hz, two RS-232/422/485 COM ports, 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB 2.0, audio and two CAN 2.0 A/B channels. Optional EDGEBoost modules add COM, USB, HDMI or DisplayPort with isolated DIO. The RCO-1000-EHL-X6425E-30 drops PoE for a wider temperature range, and the RCO-1000-EHL-X6425E-30C comes with COM and display modules fitted.

Cooling is passive through an extruded aluminum housing rated from -40 °C to 50 °C, and shock and vibration are designed to comply with MIL-STD-810H. Power is 9 to 36 V DC on a terminal block with AT and ATX modes, over-voltage, over-current and reverse protection and optional ignition management. It carries CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and ICES-003 marks. A wall-mount kit is included, with side, VESA and DIN rail kits and a 120 W AC/DC adapter optional. We supply the RCO-1000-X6425E-30-2P configured and tested, with memory, storage, the Windows 11 or Linux image and any wireless modules fitted.
