Premio WCO-3000-ORN NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano IP66 Waterproof Computers with M12

Edge AI on a vehicle roof, a roadside pole or an exposed machine has to survive weather and spray, and every cable entry is a place for water to get in. The Premio WCO-3000-ORN series seals NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano modules in an IP66 fanless enclosure and moves LAN, serial, CAN, DIO, audio and power onto M12 connectors, so these waterproof computers can mount where the cameras are.

The WCO-3000-ORN design follows the module and its power mode. Orin NX 16GB gives 100 TOPS at 25 W and up to 157 TOPS in Super Mode at 40 W, Orin NX 8GB 70 TOPS, Orin Nano 8GB 40 TOPS and Orin Nano 4GB 20 TOPS. Four X-coded M12 LAN ports carry one GbE and three Intel 2.5GbE, with an optional four-port M12 PoE module. Two RS-232/422/485 ports, CAN 2.0 B, four isolated digital inputs and four outputs and audio use A-coded M12, and power enters on a K-coded M12 connector. Storage is an M.2 NVMe SSD and Micro SD, two M.2 B key sockets and an M.2 E key socket take optional 4G/5G and Wi-Fi with a dual nano-SIM socket, and four waterproof Fakra-Z GMSL2 inputs are optional.

The current model is the WCO-3000-ORN-A, the IP66 A build. It runs JetPack 6.2 on Ubuntu 22.04 with TPM 2.0, has one USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB 2.0 Type-A port with an HDMI output, and adds an integrated G-sensor and gyroscope, with a Movella Xsens IMU module available as an option.

In practice the WCO-3000-ORN series suits in-vehicle AI, smart infrastructure and outdoor machine vision where dust and water jets reach the unit. It runs from -20 °C to 65 °C at 15 W, to 60 °C at 25 W and to 50 °C at 40 W, is designed to comply with MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration, and carries E-Mark, CE, FCC Class B and UL 62368-1 marks with EMC to EN 50121-3-2. The 9 to 48 V DC input has ignition management and AT and ATX modes. Premio designs and builds its systems in Greater Los Angeles, with research, design and engineering in Taipei.
