FCCVBOX-3650-M12X Overview
Trucks, buses and mobile plant put every connector under vibration for years, and a screw-locking connector is often the safer choice there. The Sintrones VBOX-3650-M12X replaces the four LAN sockets with M12 X-coded connectors that screw into place, without PoE. It is the M12 build of the VBOX-3650 series, a fanless AI computer on Intel Core Ultra Series 3, and it is available to order.
Two Panther Lake processors are offered: the Core Ultra 7 366H with four P-cores, eight E-cores and four low-power E-cores up to 4.8 GHz, and the Core Ultra 5 336H with four of each up to 4.6 GHz. Base power is limited to 25 W. Both include Intel Graphics and an NPU, so object detection or anomaly models can run on the vehicle. Memory is up to 128 GB of DDR5-7200 across two SO-DIMM sockets with In-Band ECC support, with a TPM 2.0 compliant with FIPS 140-3.
The VBOX-3650-M12X carries one Intel I226-LM 2.5GbE and three Intel I210-AT GbE ports on M12, three RS-232/422/485 ports, two USB 3.2 and two USB 2.0 ports, six digital inputs and four digital outputs. Two HDMI, one DisplayPort and one single-link DVI-D drive four independent displays. Storage is an M.2 NVMe socket and a removable tray for two 2.5″ SATA SSDs with RAID 0 and 1. Two M.2 Key B sockets with dual nano SIM, an M.2 Key E socket and two mini PCIe slots take optional 5G, Wi-Fi, GNSS or CAN modules. We supply it configured and tested, with memory, SSDs, the OS image and antennas fitted.
Input is 9 to 60 V DC with ignition detection and over-current, over-voltage, surge and reverse polarity protection. The M12 build weighs 2.67 kg in a 250 x 160 x 55 mm aluminum case, wall-mounted, and runs from -40 °C to 70 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow. Sintrones lists MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock ratings, CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and E-Mark, with a design to EN 45545-2 (R25) requirements.
