Sintrones VBOX-3650 Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Fanless AI Computers with Quad Display and Optional PoE or M12

Recording video and analyzing it often means two boxes in a vehicle or cabinet: a recorder and a separate AI computer. The Sintrones VBOX-3650 series is a family of fanless AI computers that can do both, with an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor and built-in NPU for analytics, and a removable tray for two 2.5″ SATA SSDs in RAID 0 or 1 for footage. The VBOX-3650 series is available to order, in four builds.

Every model offers the Core Ultra 7 366H, with four P-cores, eight E-cores and four low-power E-cores up to 4.8 GHz, or the Core Ultra 5 336H, with 12 cores up to 4.6 GHz. Base power is limited to 25 W. Two DDR5-7200 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 128 GB with In-Band ECC support, and a TPM 2.0 compliant with FIPS 140-3 is fitted. Two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort and a single-link DVI-D drive four independent displays, and expansion is two M.2 Key B sockets with dual nano SIM, an M.2 Key E socket and two mini PCIe slots for optional 5G, Wi-Fi, GNSS or CAN modules. Six digital inputs and four digital outputs are standard.

Networking is one Intel I226-LM 2.5GbE and three Intel I210-AT GbE ports on every model, and the builds differ in how those ports are delivered. The VBOX-3650 uses RJ45 without PoE and has four COM ports. The VBOX-3650P adds PoE on the four RJ45 ports, at 15.4 W per port and 60 W in total. The VBOX-3650-M12X moves the LAN to screw-locking M12 X-coded connectors, without PoE, and the VBOX-3650P-M12X combines M12 with PoE. Both M12 builds have three COM ports.

In practice, the VBOX-3650 series suits vehicle and site NVR work with analytics, digital signage, and edge AI on buses, trucks and outdoor equipment. Each model runs from 9 to 60 V DC with ignition detection, is rated from -40 °C to 70 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow and carries MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock ratings. Sintrones lists CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and E-Mark, with a design to EN 45545-2 (R25) requirements, in a 250 x 160 x 55 mm aluminum case for wall mounting. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS are supported.
