Sintrones VBOX-3650P Intel Panther Lake Fanless AI Computer with 4x PoE LAN and Quad Display

A recorder that powers its own cameras saves a switch and a tangle of cabling in a vehicle or roadside cabinet. The Sintrones VBOX-3650P is the PoE build of the VBOX-3650 series: four RJ45 ports deliver PoE at 15.4 W each within a 60 W total budget, and dual 2.5″ SATA drives in RAID hold the footage. The NPU can run video analytics locally, and the VBOX-3650P is available to order.

The processor is an Intel Core Ultra 5 336H or Core Ultra 7 366H from the Core Ultra Series 3 (Panther Lake). The 366H has 16 cores and runs up to 4.8 GHz, the 336H has 12 cores up to 4.6 GHz, and Sintrones limits base power to 25 W. Intel Graphics and the NPU are both available for inference, and two DDR5-7200 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 128 GB with In-Band ECC support. A TPM 2.0 compliant with FIPS 140-3 is fitted.

The PoE ports are one Intel I226-LM 2.5GbE and three Intel I210-AT GbE. Storage is a removable tray for two 2.5″ SATA SSDs in RAID 0 or 1 plus an M.2 NVMe socket for the operating system. There are four RS-232/422/485 ports, two USB 3.2 and two USB 2.0 ports, six digital inputs and four digital outputs, and four display outputs. Two M.2 Key B sockets with dual nano SIM take optional 5G or LTE, and an M.2 Key E socket and two mini PCIe slots take optional Wi-Fi, GNSS or CAN modules. We supply it configured and tested, with SSDs, memory, the OS image and modems fitted.

Power is 9 to 60 V DC through a three-pin terminal block, with ignition detection and over-current, over-voltage, surge and reverse polarity protection. The unit operates from -40 °C to 70 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow, holds MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock ratings, and lists CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and E-Mark, designed to EN 45545-2 (R25) requirements. It wall-mounts in a 250 x 160 x 55 mm aluminum case. The VBOX-3650P-M12X puts the PoE ports on M12, and the VBOX-3630P offers PoE on 11th Gen Core.
