Sintrones VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ON8 NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB 10.1″ IP66 Rugged Panel PC with GMSL-2 Camera Inputs

Reversing, blind-spot and load-area views put GMSL-2 cameras on a screen, often with light analytics such as person detection on top. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ON8 is the GMSL-2 build of the Sintrones VPC-101RB2S series on the Jetson Orin Nano 8GB, so four cameras, inference and a 10.1 inch touchscreen share one sealed IP66 rugged panel PC. It is a new model, available to order.

The Orin Nano 8GB pairs a six-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU with a 1024-core NVIDIA GPU and 8 GB of LPDDR5, rated at up to 40 TOPS, which suits compact detection models across the camera feeds. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ON8 runs NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 or above, pre-installed on an NVMe SSD in the M.2 2242 M key slot. Applications can move up to an Orin NX build, such as the VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ONX8, without changing cameras or mounting.

Four GMSL-2 inputs on FAKRA come from the function board. Sintrones lists up to four oToBrite oToCAM2614ISP or oToCAM223P cameras, up to four e-con Systems STURDeCAM25, STURDeCAM31 or STURDeCAM81 cameras, and up to two StereoLabs ZED X Stereo or ZED X One 4K units. One 2.5GbE and one GbE port use M12 X-code, and CAN FD, two serial ports, two USB 2.0 ports and three digital inputs with four outputs use M8. The 10.1″ screen is 1280 x 800 at 1,000 nits, optically bonded to projected capacitive touch with anti-glare and anti-smudge treatment.

It runs from 9 to 60 V DC with ignition detection and overcurrent, overvoltage, surge and reverse polarity protection. Rated from -25 °C to 60 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow and 10 to 95% humidity, it is tested to MIL-STD-810H and has E-Mark compliance, CE, FCC Class A and UKCA. A sealed service bay holds a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and the Nano SIM slot, M.2 slots take optional WWAN, Wi-Fi and GNSS, and it mounts on VESA 100 x 100. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-ON8 is the same module without a function board.
