Stereolabs ZED-X-ONE-CORE-FISHEYE (ZED-414013) Ultra-Small Board-Level MIPI Camera with Fisheye 1.38 mm Lens, 204° Field of View and Global Shutter

The ZED-X-ONE-CORE-FISHEYE is the fisheye build of the Stereolabs ZED X One Core: a 1.38 mm f/2.0 lens with a 204° horizontal view on the board-level global shutter camera. It gives ultra-wide coverage from one small module, which suits OEM robots that need all-round awareness from few cameras.

  • Fisheye 1.38 mm f/2.0 Lens: A 204°(H) x 137°(V) x 218°(D) field of view for ultra-wide coverage from a single module.
  • All-Round View from Few Cameras: Two fisheye modules on Jetson Thor, or four on Jetson AGX Orin, can cover the space around a robot.
  • MIPI CSI-2 over Micro I-PEX: Four-lane MIPI CSI-2 on a 30-pin I-PEX cable, with the camera powered at 3.3 V over the same cable.
  • Jetson AGX Orin and Thor: Through the ZED Link MIPI Quad and, for Thor, the NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge, at 1920 x 1200 and 60 fps.
  • 2.3MP Global Shutter Sensor: Every pixel exposes at once, so a turning robot is captured without skew, with a Bosch BMI088 IMU on board.

ZED-X-ONE-CORE-FISHEYE Overview

A robot that moves among people needs to see to the sides as well as ahead, and every extra camera adds cost, wiring and compute. The Stereolabs ZED-X-ONE-CORE-FISHEYE fits a 1.38 mm f/2.0 fisheye lens with a 204° horizontal view to the board-level camera of the ZED-X-ONE-CORE series, so a few modules can cover the space around a machine. For a flatter image, the ZED-X-ONE-CORE-WIDE gives 110° and the ZED-X-ONE-CORE-NARROW 73°.

The full field is 204°(H) x 137°(V) x 218°(D), with f-theta distortion under 18.8%, the figure to model when you undistort the image. The 1/2.6″ 2.3MP sensor uses a global shutter, so the scene is captured without skew while the robot turns. Output runs at 1920 x 1200 at 60 fps, 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps in cropping mode or 960 x 600 at 120 fps in binning mode, with 71.4 dB dynamic range and a Bosch BMI088 six-axis IMU at 200 Hz.

Four-lane MIPI CSI-2 leaves the ZED-X-ONE-CORE-FISHEYE on a 30-pin Micro I-PEX connector that also carries 3.3 V power, a frame-sync input so several fisheye modules trigger together, and a flash-enable output for external lighting. The ZED-LINK-MIPI-QUAD takes up to four cameras on a Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit, or two on Jetson Thor through the NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge, over I-PEX cables of up to 50 cm.

The camera draws 0.8 W at 3.3 V over the MIPI cable and is rated from -20 °C to 60 °C. Four mounting holes fix the board inside your housing. Stereolabs lists REACH and RoHS compliance and a two-year warranty. We supply it tested with the ZED Link MIPI Quad, I-PEX cables and Jetson host for your robot, with drivers configured before it ships.
