Stereolabs ZED-X-ONE-CORE Global Shutter Board-Level MIPI Cameras for Jetson AGX Orin and Thor with Fisheye, Wide, Narrow or No Lens
The Stereolabs ZED X One Core series is a family of board-level MIPI cameras with a 1/2.6" 2.3MP global shutter sensor, 1920 x 1200 at 60 fps, four-lane MIPI CSI-2 over a Micro I-PEX cable, a six-axis IMU and -20 °C to 60 °C operation. Fisheye, wide, narrow and no-lens builds are offered. The series suits OEM robots, small enclosures and edge AI deployments on NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson Thor.
- 2.3MP Global Shutter Sensor: A 1/2.6″ sensor exposing every pixel at once, at 1920 x 1200 and 60 fps or 960 x 600 at 120 fps.
- Board-Level Module for OEMs: A barebone camera with four mounting holes, designed to fit inside small enclosures and tightly integrated robots.
- MIPI CSI-2 over Micro I-PEX: Four-lane MIPI CSI-2 on a 30-pin I-PEX cable that also carries 3.3 V power, frame sync and flash control.
- Jetson AGX Orin and Thor: Through the ZED Link MIPI Quad: up to four cameras on Jetson AGX Orin, two on Jetson Thor via Holoscan.
- -20 to 60 °C at 0.8 W: Rated from -20 °C to 60 °C, drawing 0.8 W at 3.3 V, with a Bosch BMI088 six-axis IMU on board.

ZED-X-ONE-CORE Description
OEMs putting vision into their own product often find a finished camera housing gets in the way: it sets the size, the mounting and the cable exit before the design has started. The Stereolabs ZED X One Core series removes that housing. It is a barebone camera module for small enclosures and tightly integrated robots, connected over MIPI for low-latency capture and ready for NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson Thor. These board-level MIPI cameras let the product team decide how the camera sits in the machine.
Every ZED X One Core uses a 1/2.6″ 2.3MP global shutter sensor, so every pixel is exposed at once and moving scenes are captured without skew. Output runs at 1920 x 1200 at 60 fps, 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps in cropping mode or 960 x 600 at 120 fps in binning mode, with 71.4 dB dynamic range and a Bosch BMI088 six-axis IMU at 200 Hz. Four-lane MIPI CSI-2 leaves the board on a 30-pin Micro I-PEX connector that also carries 3.3 V power, a frame-sync input for multi-camera triggering and a flash-enable output for external lighting.
The ZED X One Core range splits by lens. The ZED-X-ONE-CORE-FISHEYE has a 1.38 mm lens and a 204° horizontal view for all-round awareness from few modules. The ZED-X-ONE-CORE-WIDE has a 2.2 mm lens and a 110° view with TV distortion under 4.39%, a general forward view for robots. The ZED-X-ONE-CORE-NARROW has a 4.6 mm lens and a 73° view for precise, focused inspection, and it is the lightest build. The ZED-X-ONE-CORE-NO-LENS has no optic fitted, for OEMs who specify their own lens.
In practice the ZED X One Core series suits OEM robots, inspection heads and small edge AI devices. Every build connects through the ZED Link MIPI Quad, which takes up to four cameras on a Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit, or two on Jetson Thor through the NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge, over I-PEX cables of up to 50 cm. The cameras draw 0.8 W at 3.3 V over the MIPI cable and are rated from -20 °C to 60 °C, with REACH and RoHS compliance and a two-year warranty. These board-level MIPI cameras run on Jetson Linux (L4T) v35.1 or newer.
