Stereolabs ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW (ZED-413010) 2.3MP GMSL2 Global Shutter Camera with Narrow 4.6 mm Lens, 73° Field of View and IMU

The ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW is the narrow-lens build of the Stereolabs ZED X One GS: a 4.6 mm f/2.0 lens with a 73° horizontal view in front of the 2.3MP global shutter sensor. The tighter view puts more pixels on a distant or small target, which suits picking cells, parcel lines and long-baseline stereo rigs.

  • Narrow 4.6 mm f/2.0 Lens: A 73°(H) x 45°(V) x 87°(D) field of view that puts more pixels on distant or small targets than the wide build.
  • Long-Range Detail for AI Tasks: The tighter view suits object detection and reading at distance, where a wide lens would spread the target over fewer pixels.
  • 2.3MP Global Shutter Sensor: Every pixel exposes at once at 1920 x 1200 and 60 fps, with 960 x 600 at 120 fps in binning mode.
  • GMSL2 over FAKRA Z: Video and power share one lockable coax link, with cable runs of up to 15 m to an NVIDIA Jetson Orin host.
  • Hardware Sync and IMU: Frame-level synchronization within 15 microseconds across cameras, plus a Bosch BMI088 six-axis IMU reporting at 200 Hz.

ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW Overview

A wide lens is a poor match when the target sits several meters down a conveyor or across a warehouse aisle, because it spreads the object over too few pixels. The Stereolabs ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW answers that with a 4.6 mm f/2.0 lens and a 73° horizontal field of view on the ZED-X-ONE-GS series. Where the scene is closer and broader, the ZED-X-ONE-GS-WIDE opens out to 110°, and the ZED-X-ONE-GS-NO-LENS takes a lens of your choosing.

Behind the lens is a 1/2.6″ 2.3MP sensor with a global shutter that exposes every pixel at once, so moving parcels and robot tooling are captured without skew. The full field is 73°(H) x 45°(V) x 87°(D), and output runs at 1920 x 1200 at 60 fps, 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps in cropping mode or 960 x 600 at 120 fps in binning mode, in RAW10 or YUV 4:2:2. Dynamic range is 71.4 dB, and a Bosch BMI088 six-axis IMU reports at 200 Hz for motion-aware perception.

The camera connects over GMSL2 on a lockable FAKRA Z connector, carrying video and power on one coax cable of up to 15 m to an NVIDIA Jetson Orin host on Jetson Linux (L4T) v35.1 or newer. Hardware synchronization within 15 microseconds lets two ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW cameras act as a custom stereo pair with a baseline you choose, or join a larger multi-camera rig. The ZED-LINK-DUO captures up to four GMSL2 cameras in SD or HD.

Power draw is 0.89 W at 12 V over the GMSL2 link, and the camera is rated from -20 °C to 55 °C at up to 90% relative humidity at 40 °C. It mounts on four M4 threads or a 1/4″-20 adapter plate, with CE, REACH, RoHS, TSCA and EMC compliance listed by Stereolabs and a two-year warranty. We supply it tested with the GMSL2 cables, capture card and Jetson host it will run on, with drivers configured before it ships.

Official Stereolabs USA Distributor

Things Embedded is an official Stereolabs USA distributor, and we supply the ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW tested with the matching GMSL2 cable and a ZED Link capture card or ZED Box, with JetPack and the ZED SDK configured on the host before it ships. Within the Vecow range, the ZED-X-ONE-GS-WIDE trades the 73° narrow view for a 110° horizontal view, better for close, broad scenes.

Across our range, the ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW sits with our industrial camera range, GMSL camera range and the Stereolabs range.
