ZED-X-ONE-GS-NO-LENS Overview
Engineers building their own stereo pair or surround-view rig often know which optic they want before they choose a sensor. The Stereolabs ZED-X-ONE-GS-NO-LENS is the no-lens build of the ZED-X-ONE-GS series, supplied without optics so you can fit your own lens to a 2.3MP global shutter camera on GMSL2. If a fixed focal length suits the job, the ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW and ZED-X-ONE-GS-WIDE ship with 4.6 mm and 2.2 mm lenses fitted.
The 1/2.6″ sensor has a 1928 x 1208 pixel array with 3 µm pixels and a recommended lens chief ray angle of 0° ± 3°, which is the figure to check when you shortlist optics. Global shutter exposes every pixel at once, so conveyors, robot arms and moving parcels are captured without skew. Output runs at 1920 x 1200 at 60 fps, 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps in cropping mode or 960 x 600 at 120 fps in binning mode, in RAW10 or YUV 4:2:2, with 71.4 dB dynamic range. A Bosch BMI088 six-axis IMU reports at 200 Hz through the Stereolabs Sensors API.
Video and power share one GMSL2 coax link on a lockable FAKRA Z connector, with cable runs of up to 15 m to an NVIDIA Jetson Orin host on Jetson Linux (L4T) v35.1 or newer. Hardware synchronization aligns frames across cameras within 15 microseconds, which matters when two ZED-X-ONE-GS-NO-LENS cameras form a custom stereo baseline. On a Jetson AGX Orin, the ZED-LINK-QUAD captures up to eight GMSL2 cameras in SD or HD, and the ZED-LINK-DUO takes up to four.
The camera draws 0.89 W at 12 V over the GMSL2 link and is rated from -20 °C to 55 °C, at up to 90% relative humidity at 40 °C. Mounting is four M4 threads on the base plus a 1/4″-20 adapter plate, and Stereolabs lists CE, REACH, RoHS, TSCA and EMC compliance with a two-year warranty. We supply it tested on the Jetson host with the GMSL2 cables and capture card the rig needs, with the camera drivers configured before it ships.
