Vecow ABP-3000 AI-8145U Intel Core i3-8145UE Hailo-8 Low-Profile In-Vehicle Edge AI PC

Adding AI to a vehicle or kiosk is often limited by space and heat rather than by the model itself. The ABP-3000 AI-8145U fits a Hailo-8 accelerator and an Intel Core i3-8145UE into a 33 mm fanless chassis, so inference runs on the accelerator while the CPU handles the application. It is the Core i3 edge AI PC in the Vecow ABP-3000 AI series.

The ABP-3000 AI-8145U uses an onboard Intel Core i3-8145UE, an 8th Gen Whiskey Lake U-series processor, with two DDR4 2400 MHz slots for up to 64 GB, ECC or non-ECC. Beside it, an onboard Hailo-8 AI processor rated at up to 26 TOPS runs TensorFlow and ONNX models, so detection and classification do not compete with the CPU. Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives two DisplayPort outputs at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz, and Windows 10 and Linux are supported with TPM 2.0.

Networking on the ABP-3000 AI-8145U is four Intel I350 GbE ports, two of them IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at 25.5 W with power on/off control for cameras. Four COM RS-232/422/485 ports with 8 kV ESD protection, 16 isolated DIO and four USB 3.1 ports handle field devices. Storage uses an M.2 Key B socket (PCIe x2 or SATA), while a Mini PCIe socket, an M.2 Key E socket and two internal SIM sockets take 5G, 4G or Wi-Fi modules for connected sites.

The edge AI PC runs on 9 V to 50 V DC through a Mini-DIN connector, with 16-mode ignition control and a remote power switch for vehicle installs. Its cableless, fanless design is rated from 0 °C to 60 °C, with IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings, and the 1.4 kg Vecow unit wall-mounts.
