Vecow ABP-3000 Intel 8th Gen Core Ultra-Slim Small Form Factor Industrial PCs

Some installations have plenty of width but almost no depth: behind an HMI panel, inside a kiosk wall or under a vehicle seat. The Vecow ABP-3000 series is designed for those spaces, with small form factor industrial PCs that are 32.6 mm high, fanless and cableless inside, yet still carry PoE+, serial and isolated I/O. The thin profile also makes it easy to mount a unit beside a controller on a back plate, with every connector on the front or rear panel.

Both ABP-3000 models share the same design. An onboard 8th Gen Intel Core Whiskey Lake processor sits on the Intel Cannon Lake SoC with two DDR4 2400 MHz slots for up to 64 GB, ECC or non-ECC, and Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives two DisplayPort outputs at up to 4096 x 2304. Four Intel I350 GbE ports, two with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and power on/off control, four COM ports with 8 kV ESD protection, 16 isolated DIO and four USB 3.1 ports cover cameras, controllers and field devices. Storage uses M.2 Key M and Key B sockets, and a Mini PCIe socket, an M.2 Key E socket and two internal SIM sockets take 5G, 4G or Wi-Fi.

The two models differ only by processor. The ABP-3000-8665U carries the Intel Core i7-8665UE for vision pre-processing, data logging and heavier HMI software. The ABP-3000-8145U carries the Intel Core i3-8145UE for gateways, kiosks and control tasks where the I/O matters more than processing headroom, and power and heat stay low. Both share the same chassis and I/O, so a project can standardize on one installation and choose the processor per site without changing cabling or mounting.

ABP-3000 small form factor industrial PCs typically serve machine control, kiosks, IoT gateways and in-vehicle systems. A 9 V to 50 V DC input on a Mini-DIN connector with 16-mode ignition control suits vehicle and cabinet power, and the series is rated fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C, with IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings. At 1.4 kg the unit wall-mounts easily, and TPM 2.0 supports secure boot for connected deployments.
