Vecow EAC-4000-AR04 NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 4GB Embedded Box PC with 20 TOPS, HDMI 4K60 and Wide Temperature

Plenty of edge AI jobs are small: is someone at the counter, is the pallet in the bay, what does the gauge read. A 4 GB module handles that kind of model well, and spending more on each unit adds little. The Vecow EAC-4000-AR04 is the Jetson Orin Nano 4GB build of the EAC-4000 series, a fanless embedded box PC rated at up to 20 TOPS and the entry point to the range.

Its module has a six-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 512-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 16 Tensor Cores and 4 GB of LPDDR5. There is no NVDLA engine or hardware encoder, but HEVC decode reaches one 4K stream at 60 fps or five 1080p streams at 60 fps, which covers most single-camera and dual-camera pipelines. Vecow supports Super Mode on the Orin Nano. We supply the EAC-4000-AR04 with JetPack 6.2 on Ubuntu 22.04 and the NVMe SSD fitted, with the application image loaded where you need it.

The I/O is the same as the larger builds: one Gigabit Ethernet port on RJ45, four USB 3.1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.0 at up to 4K at 60 Hz and two DB9 COM ports that switch between RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485. A full-size Mini PCIe socket with nano SIM and two antenna positions takes an optional 4G or Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, and the NVMe SSD runs in an M.2 Key M socket on PCIe 4.0 x4.

Power is 12 V DC on a three-pin terminal block. Without a fan, the unit is rated from -25 °C to 55 °C in 15 W mode, with MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 compliance listed by Vecow. Wall mounting is standard and DIN rail is an option. The EAC-4000-AR08 doubles the memory and GPU cores, and the EAC-4000-AR04-OOB adds Allxon out-of-band management.
