Vecow EAC-5000 NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial AI Computers with PCIe Expansion

Most Jetson computers fix their I/O at the factory, which becomes a problem when a project later needs more Ethernet, a frame grabber or extra USB. The Vecow EAC-5000 series keeps that option open: rugged edge AI computers that put the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin beside a PCIe Gen4 x8 slot, eight GMSL camera inputs and isolated CAN FD in a 260 x 182 x 69 mm enclosure.

Every EAC-5000 shares the same design. Vecow quotes the Jetson AGX Orin range at up to 275 TOPS, with an NVIDIA Ampere GPU, Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU cores and two NVDLA engines running Ubuntu with JetPack. Two GbE ports, one USB 3.1 Gen 2 port, four USB 3.1 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, two isolated CAN FD ports and 16 isolated DIO handle machine I/O, and one digital display output reaches 8K at 60 Hz. Storage runs to two M.2 Key M 2280 sockets, 64 GB eMMC and microSD, while two SIM sockets with M.2 Key B and Key E support 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi.

The range splits on module. The EAC-5000-R64 carries the Jetson AGX Orin 64GB, with a 12-core CPU, a 2048-core GPU with 64 Tensor cores and 64 GB LPDDR5, for larger models and more concurrent streams. The EAC-5000-R32 carries the Jetson AGX Orin 32GB, with an 8-core CPU, a 1792-core GPU with 56 Tensor cores and 32 GB LPDDR5, for workloads that fit within 32 GB. Both EAC-5000 models share the same PCIe slot, camera inputs and enclosure.

EAC-5000 computers typically serve automated agricultural machinery, autonomous mobile robots, in-vehicle perception and real-time video analytics. A 9 V to 50 V DC input with 16-mode software ignition control suits vehicle power, and the computer runs from -20°C to 70°C in 30 W mode or to 55°C in MAXN mode. Shock and vibration are tested to MIL-STD-810G, Vecow lists EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC compliance, and Allxon remote management and an optional out-of-band module support fleets in the field. The enclosure weighs 3.8 kg and wall-mounts as standard, with DIN rail and VESA kits available, and the GbE ports can be specified with X-coded M12 connectors for vibration-prone installations.
