FCCVCM-1000F Overview
Cabinets near ovens, presses or sunny windows can run hotter than a fanless PC likes, and a 65 W Core i9 makes that harder. The VCM-1000F adds an internal fan to the base layout so it holds its rating to 75 °C with 35 W processors. It is the fan-cooled compact embedded computer in the Vecow VCM-1000 series, with the same 55 mm height as the fanless model.
The VCM-1000F takes 12th or 13th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors on the Intel H610E chipset, up to the 24-core Core i9-13900E at 65 W TDP, with two DDR5 4800 MHz SO-DIMMs for up to 64 GB. Intel UHD Graphics 770 drives a VGA and a DVI-D output at up to 1920 x 1200, which suits HMI and signage screens, and Intel TCC and TPM 2.0 support deterministic tasks and secure boot. Windows 11, Windows 10 and Linux are supported.
Networking on the VCM-1000F is two GbE ports, one Intel I219LM and one Intel I210. Four USB 3.2 and four USB 2.0 ports on the panel, two internal USB 2.0 headers and two COM RS-232/422/485 ports handle peripherals and serial devices. One internal 2.5″ SSD or HDD bracket on SATA III sits beside an M.2 Key M socket for a fast boot drive, and M.2 Key B and Key E sockets with an internal SIM take 4G or Wi-Fi modules.
The compact embedded computer runs on 24 V DC through a terminal block, with 16-mode software ignition control and a remote switch. With its internal fan, Vecow rates the VCM-1000F from -25 °C to 75 °C with 35 W processors and -25 °C to 60 °C with 65 W parts, with IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing and CE and FCC approvals.
