Winmate D140 14″ Windows Rugged Tablet with Intel Core i5-1235U, IP65 and MIL-STD-810G

Field service and inspection teams often want a screen big enough for drawings, forms and maintenance manuals, without giving up a sealed, drop-tested case. The D140 is Winmate’s 14 inch Windows rugged tablet for that work, pairing an Intel Core i5-1235U with a 14″ 1920 x 1080 optically bonded display and an IP65 housing. Winmate names field service, inspection, factory and mission-critical applications as its uses.

The Core i5-1235U is a 12th Gen Alder Lake processor running at up to 4.4 GHz with Intel Iris Xe graphics, suited to maintenance apps and drawing viewers. One memory slot holds 8 GB as standard, with up to 32 GB available, and storage is a 128 GB SSD with options from 256 GB to 2 TB. TPM 2.0 is fitted, SOTI MobiControl is supported for fleet management, and the tablet runs Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC. The screen shows 1920 x 1080 at 500 nits with 1000:1 contrast, under projected capacitive multi-touch with a stylus and a built-in holder for left or right hand use.

Connections include four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB-C ports with power delivery and display output, and one Gigabit LAN port for wired networks. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in, and 4G LTE and an 8 MP autofocus rear camera are optional. The D140-H is the same 14 inch tablet with an 800 nit screen in a magnesium alloy housing, and the M140TG is the 14 inch Tiger Lake model with a hot-swappable battery and a docking connector.

The housing is ABS composite wrapped in elastomeric rubber, sealed to IP65 and tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6 for shock and a 4 ft drop, and Method 514.6 for vibration. A fan cools the processor, and the D140 operates from -20 °C to 60 °C. Its 73.03 Wh battery runs for around eight hours and charges from the supplied 20 V USB-C adapter and power cord; a stand with integrated handle or a top handle is optional. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply it configured, with Windows installed, and tested, ready to deploy.
