Winmate FM12MG 12.1″ Android Vehicle Mount Computer with MediaTek Genio 510 and MIL-STD-810H

When drivers work from maps or long pick lists, a larger screen saves scrolling, and a tablet that lifts out of the dock can go with them for stock checks. The FM12MG is Winmate’s 12.1 inch Android vehicle mount computer for that work, a rugged tablet with a MediaTek Genio 510 that locks into a vehicle dock. Winmate names warehouse logistics, fleet management and forklift operations as its intended uses.

The MediaTek Genio 510 pairs two Arm Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz with 4 GB of memory, 64 GB of storage and a microSD slot. Android 13 is standard, with Linux Yocto 5.10 with Qt 5.15 or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 as options. The 12.1″ 1024 x 768 PCAP display runs at 400 nits, with 800 nits as an option, 1000:1 contrast and 89 degree viewing angles, and works with hands, a stylus or gloves. Five programmable function buttons sit beside the screen, and the front panel is field replaceable to reduce service costs. That gives the FM12MG room for map-based route apps and multi-line picking screens.

The tablet has a USB 2.0 Type-C OTG port, microSD and a dual nano-SIM slot, and the dock adds Gigabit LAN, two USB 2.0 ports through a DB9, two COM ports, two speakers and a CANBus or audio port. WLAN and Bluetooth are built in, with 4G/LTE and GPS/GLONASS as options. Within the Winmate range the FM12MG-V is a fixed 12.1 inch IP65 terminal with the Genio 510, and the FM12Q9 is a 12.1″ Android tablet with a Qualcomm QCS6490 and Android 15.

The dock takes 10 to 60 V DC with ignition control, and a UPS battery covers at least 30 minutes away from the vehicle supply. The unit is rated IP65 and IK07, is compliant with MIL-STD-810H Methods 516.8 and 514.8, and runs from -30 to 60 °C. The aluminum alloy dock fits RAM or VESA mounts. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the FM12MG configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
