In a server room or equipment rack, engineers need a screen and keyboard at the rack without giving up space to a permanent monitor and desk. The LDS310D-16P is Winmate’s 17 inch 1U rack mount KVM console drawer for that job: a pull-out screen, keyboard and touch pad in one rack unit, with a built-in 16-port KVM.
The 17″ panel shows 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) at 350 nits, with 1000:1 contrast, 16.2 million colors and viewing angles of 170 degrees horizontal and 160 degrees vertical. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) handle the on-screen menu. It comes with an 88-key keyboard with an integrated touch pad and a 17-key numeric keypad, so data entry and pointing happen at the rack without a separate mouse.
Video comes in over 16 VGA computer ports, so one LDS310D-16P can switch between up to 16 servers or industrial PCs in the rack, with keyboard and mouse connections alongside. Within the Winmate range the LDS310D-1P is the same 17″ drawer with a single VGA input, and the LDS410D-16P is the 16-port version with a 19 inch, 250 nit panel.
Power is 100 to 240 V AC straight into the drawer, with a power cord supplied. The fanless design runs from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C, and Winmate describes the pull-out metal housing as built for shock resistance in rack or portable use. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the LDS310D-16P configured and tested before dispatch.
