Winmate M116AN 11.6″ Rugged Windows Tablet with Intel N150, IP65 and 850 Nit Display

Forms, maps and drawings are easier to work with on a screen a little larger than the usual 10 inch tablet, as long as the device still goes where the job does. The M116AN is Winmate’s 11.6″ rugged Windows tablet with an Intel Processor N150, an 850 nit full HD display and a hot-swappable battery, and Winmate lists IP65 and MIL-STD-810H shock, vibration and drop resistance.

The N150 runs at up to 3.6 GHz. Memory is 4 GB as standard with 8 GB or 16 GB optional, and storage is a 128 GB SSD with 256 GB and 512 GB options plus a micro SDXC slot. TPM 2.0 and a Kensington lock slot are included, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC installed. The 11.6 inch 1920 x 1080 screen gives 850 nits and 1000:1 contrast with optical bonding and anti-glare treatment, and its touch works by hand, in rain, with a stylus or with gloves.

Connections are one USB 3.0 Type-A port, one USB 3.0 Type-C port with 20 V Power Delivery input and Alt Mode, an optional Micro HDMI output, an optional RJ45 Gigabit LAN port, an audio combo jack and a 19-pin docking connector. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/GLONASS are built in, a micro SIM slot serves optional 4G LTE or 5G, and there are 2MP front and 8MP autofocus rear cameras. A 1D/2D barcode reader, HF RFID and a smart card reader are optional. Within the Winmate range the M116AD is the 11.6 inch model with an Intel Core i5-1235U, and the M101AN is the 10.1 inch N150 tablet.

Winmate quotes around eight hours from the standard 5900 mAh battery, with a 10280 mAh pack as an option. Power is 19 V DC, with an AC adapter and capacitive stylus supplied. Desk and vehicle docks, a vehicle cradle, a VESA kit and straps are optional, and the M116AN carries CE and FCC marks. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch, ready to deploy.
