FCCM900AD Overview
A soldier, inspector or field engineer working on foot often needs a full Windows computer that fits in one hand and survives rain, dust and drops. The M900AD is Winmate’s 8 inch military rugged tablet for that role, with an Intel Core i5-1235U, an 8″ optically bonded display, IP66 sealing and MIL-STD-461G EMC. Winmate names field service, inspection, industrial mobility and mission-critical applications as its uses.
The Core i5-1235U is a 12th Gen Alder Lake processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, and an Intel Core 5 120U is offered as an option. Memory is 8 GB as standard with 16 GB optional, and storage is a 256 GB SSD with 512 GB and 1 TB options. TPM 2.0 is fitted, SOTI MobiControl is supported, and the tablet runs Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC. The 8 inch screen shows 1280 x 800 at 800 nits with 1500:1 contrast, optical bonding and anti-glare treatment under projected capacitive multi-touch, and a capacitive stylus is optional.
A Gigabit LAN port, one USB 3.0 Type-A port and two lockable USB-C ports, with 20 V power delivery in and display output, sit on the tablet, alongside a 19-pin docking connector. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and GLONASS are built in; 4G LTE, 5G and HF RFID are optional, with a Nano SIM slot. A 2 MP front camera, an 8 MP autofocus rear camera with LED light, light, G and gyro sensors, and three programmable keys complete it. The M101AD is the 10.1 inch model with the same processor and an optional barcode reader, and the M116AD is the 11.6 inch model with an 850 nit screen.
The M900AD is sealed to IP66, tested to MIL-STD-810H Methods 516.8 and 514.8 for shock, vibration and a 5 ft drop, and lists MIL-STD-461G and STANAG 4370 EMC tests. A fan cools it from -20 °C to 60 °C. The hot-swappable battery runs for around six hours, and power comes from a 20 V adapter or USB-C; a hand strap, vehicle charger and battery charger are optional. We supply it configured, with Windows installed, and tested, ready to deploy.
