Winmate R08IE3S-CHU1 8.4″ Chassis Panel PC with Intel Celeron N6211 and 600 Nit SVGA Screen

An HMI on a swing arm or machine guard needs to be compact and readable, and it has to carry its own computer when there is no cabinet PC behind it. The R08IE3S-CHU1 is Winmate’s 8.4 inch chassis panel PC: a fanless Intel Celeron N6211 computer and an 800 x 600 screen in one metal housing with a 75 x 75 mm VESA pattern.

The Intel Celeron N6211 is an Elkhart Lake processor running at up to 3.0 GHz, with the Celeron N6210 as an option. One DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM socket takes 4 GB as standard and 8 GB or 16 GB as options, and storage is a 128 GB M.2 2242 SSD with a 2.5 inch SATA bay available. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied. The panel runs at 600 nits with 600:1 contrast, and resistive touch or protection glass are the front options.

On the underside are two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port and an optional HDMI 2.0 output, with an M.2 E-key slot for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The R08IE3S-CHT1WT is the same chassis rated from -20 °C to 60 °C, and the R08IE3S-PMU1 is the panel mount version for cut-outs.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm jack, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied. The R08IE3S-CHU1 is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, has a front rated IP65 and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 236 x 190 x 60 mm, weighs 2.2 kg and mounts on a 75 x 75 mm VESA pattern.
