Winmate R08T200-IPT1WT 8.4″ Front IP65 Monitor with Wide Temperature and Resistive Touch

Small control screens in cold stores, unheated buildings and outdoor cabinets have to keep working outside office temperatures, with a sealed front. The R08T200-IPT1WT is Winmate’s 8.4 inch industrial monitor for that job: an SVGA panel, with front IP65 protection against dust and low-pressure water jets in a fanless metal housing. It connects to a separate industrial computer or controller and fits into cabinets, racks and fixtures.

The 8.4″ 800 x 600 panel runs at 450 nits with 600:1 contrast and 160 degree horizontal and 140 degree vertical viewing angles, and the whole monitor is rated for wide temperatures. The 4:3 format matches many existing HMI and SCADA screen layouts. Resistive touch is fitted as standard, and it works with gloved fingers or a stylus. SAW touch or a plain protection glass without touch can be specified instead.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI inputs as options. Touch connects over a single USB port. Set-up is through a five-key OSD. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional, as is a remote controller. The R08T200-IPT1HB is the 1000 nit version for bright sites, and the R08IAN3S-IPT1WT is the wide temperature panel PC on the same front, with an Intel N150 inside.

The 8.4 inch monitor is rated IP65 at the front and mounts into a panel cut-out or on VESA. It runs from 12 V DC, and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter, power cord and VGA and HDMI cables are supplied. It operates from -20 °C to 60 °C at 30 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -25 °C to 65 °C, and it carries CE and FCC marks.
