FCCR10L100-MLT2 Overview
Moving maps and sensor overlays need more pixels than SVGA offers, but the display still has to live in a vehicle. The R10L100-MLT2 is Winmate’s 10.4 inch G-WIN defense display with a 1024 x 768 panel, housed in a fanless, IP65 sealed enclosure with a MIL-DTL-38999/1 power connector.
The XGA LCD runs at 350 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.2M colors and 176° viewing angles in both directions, so crew members either side of the screen see the same picture, which suits shared consoles. AR protection glass is standard. Touch can be added as 5-wire resistive, resistive with an EMI mesh filter, or EMI glass. Five front keys drive the on-screen display, and the fanless design leaves no filters or fans to service in the field.
Video arrives over VGA, with HDMI as an option, and an optional RS-232 port carries touch data. Winmate states compliance with MIL-STD-810G methods 514.6, 507.4 and 516.5, and with MIL-STD-461E/F/G tests including RE102, CE102 and CS118. The R10L100-MLP1 is the 600 nit SVGA version of this housing, and the R15L100-MLA3HB moves to a 15 inch 1000 nit panel.
Power is 12 V DC as standard, with a 9 to 36 V DC wide-range input as an option. The display operates from -20 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% RH, handles 30 g operating shock for 18 ms and is IP65 protected except at the I/O. It measures 315.9 x 250.9 x 67 mm, mounts on 75 x 75 mm VESA holes and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate names armoured vehicles, vehicle navigation and real-time communications among its applications.
