Winmate R12IE3S-PCM2AC-POE 12.1″ PCAP Touch Panel PC with Intel Elkhart Lake Celeron N6211 and PoE Power

A room booking panel is most useful when people can see at a glance, from along the corridor, whether a room is free. The R12IE3S-PCM2AC-POE is Winmate’s 12.1″ S series HMI built for that, with RGB LED status light bars on both sides of a fanless 12.1 inch panel PC. It is wall mounted as standard, sealed to IP65 at the front and can take its power over the network cable.

An Intel Celeron N6211 runs the unit, a dual-core Elkhart Lake processor at up to 3.0 GHz with a 6.5 W TDP that suits booking, access and information software. Memory is 4 GB of DDR4 as standard with 8 GB or 16 GB options, storage is a 128 GB SSD in an M.2 2242 B-key SATA slot with options up to 2 TB, and TPM 2.0 is on board. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be installed.

The 12.1 inch screen is 1024 x 768 at 500 nits with 1000:1 contrast and PCAP multi-touch. Two 2.5GbE ports sit on Intel controllers, one taking power as a PoE powered device to IEEE 802.3at at 25 W, alongside two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port and two speakers. A 13.56 MHz HF RFID reader for badges, a 2 MP front camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are options. The R12IE3S-PCM2-POE is the same unit without the light bars, and the R12MG3S-PCM2-POE is a version with an Arm-based MediaTek Genio 510.

Without PoE, the R12IE3S-PCM2AC-POE runs from 12 V DC on a three-pin terminal block, and Winmate supplies an AC adapter, a power cord, a terminal block to DC jack adapter cable, an open wire cable and VESA screws. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C, mounts on a wall or optionally on VESA, and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
