Winmate R12IT3S-IPM2 12.1″ Front IP65 Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and 500 Nit Display

Operator panels in wet or dusty production areas get splashed and wiped every day, so the front needs sealing and the screen needs to stay readable under bright overhead lights. The R12IT3S-IPM2 is Winmate’s 12.1 inch front IP65 panel PC for that job, with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 and a 500 nit 1024 x 768 display with 1000:1 contrast and 178 degree viewing angles.

The Intel Core i5-1135G7 runs at up to 4.2 GHz, with an i5-1145G7 as an option, and sits alongside one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM socket fitted with 4 GB and options to 32 GB. Storage is a 128 GB SSD on an M.2 M-key socket that takes a 2242 SATA or 2280 NVMe drive, with NVMe options up to 4 TB and an optional SATA III drive up to 2 TB. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied. Resistive touch is an option for gloved or stylus input, or protection glass without touch for display-only use.

I/O sits on the rear: two Gigabit LAN ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, an optional HDMI 2.0 output for a second screen and two speakers. An M.2 2230 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module, with Bluetooth also available. The R12IT3S-PMM2 is the 12.1 inch panel mount model without a front IP65 rating, and the R15IT3S-IPC3 takes the same approach to a 15 inch screen.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm jack, and a 100 to 240 V AC 120 W adapter is supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, which suits indoor control cabinets and machine enclosures. It measures 324 x 274 x 67 mm, needs a 302 x 234.3 mm cut-out and weighs 2.6 kg; mounting clips are supplied for panel mounting, with VESA and open frame mounting also supported. It carries CE and FCC marks.
